Fontconfig was changed to use %appdata%/fontconfig for the cache and will rebuild it for all users on first run. It also now shows progress when caching fonts so it doesn’t look too boring ;)
Make sure there is no fontconfig folder in %userprofile%; if there is, remove it as most fontconfig problems are caused by that.
Also, several dependency packages were updated and their versions now are:

Well done!
Why not to only use UPX as older? MPlayer packed with UPX will use more RAM… Umm…Sadly…How to unpack…
You can get a win32 version of upx on http://upx.sf.net and unpack with “upx -d mplayer.exe”. The unpacked version is around 3 times bigger than the packed version though.
But if you won’t unpack, it will use three times of memory size…
Thanks for the excelent job but i have a problem.I use SMPlayer gui with your Mplayer version and i install this new version when i start a movie program updates fobtconfig every time not just once as previous version.Sorry for my bad English. :)
Can you reproduce it while using mplayer.exe directly (with drag-n-drop or command prompt)?
I’ve heard reports of that same problem on IRC but I’m failing to reproduce; but I don’t use SMPlayer. I also have no idea of what could be causing it :(
I am having the same problem with fontconfig updating every time I start a movie. I am using drag-n-drop on mplayer.exe directly. This does not happen on previous versions.
Hi, good job, but i have a problem: plays better than older version, but failed in “5 Centimeters Per Second”, released by Thoranime. Works fine in previous release.
Actually version output: http://pastebin.com/m2b65c001
Previous version output: http://pastebin.com/m202d612
I tested in console application, SMplayer frontend and various playback options. Same results.
Many thanks and sorry for my poor English :D
Thank you! Working great. One thing does bother me a bit though. There is a line say “Unsupported PixelFormat -1″. What does that mean? Is it anything important?
Hey, nice tips. Perhaps I’ll buy a glass of beer to that man from that chat who told me to visit your site :)
