  2. Hypernova says:

I just realized that now subtitle is always rendered at desktop resolution. Awesome. Thanks for the build!

  3. BulletXt says:

Thanks! I’m using this mplayer build combined to a qt4 audio engine I’m writing for my videogame! Thanks again!!!

  4. furyx says:

It’s possible add mplayer-filmdint-vfr.patch and mplayer-tcdump.patch in future to mencoder?

  5. Guti says:

Anyone having problems running this build with SMPlayer?
Older ones work pretty fine, but with this it is reported that there was no answer by MPlayer.

  6. lolcat says:

    @ Guti

Works fine with portable SMPlayer on XP SP3.

  7. Guti says:

Thank you lolcat. I tried on 7 RC x64.
Will try in a different machine and enviroment.

  8. Guti says:

Just tried on a Vista x64 SP1, and worked fine, so the issue is probably on a feature/bug in Seven RC.

  9. Maxim says:

  10. Asper says:

I’m using this build with smplayer on Windows 7 x64 with no issues so far

  11. Natsuki says:

    hmm.. this build crashes

MPlayer interrupted by signal 4 in module: init_video_codec
    - MPlayer crashed by an ‘Illegal Instruction’.
It may be a bug in our new runtime CPU-detection code…

    O.o

    ¿MPlayer/MEncoder x64?

  13. Asper says:

I’ve been using this build with smplayer on windows 7 with only one issue. smplayer allows the setting of the folder that screenshots are saved to this is done by changing mplayers working directory unfortunately that’s also where mplayer looks for its font cache so where ever you set it gets the folder USERPROFILE_FONTCONFIG_CACHE and any changes in the screenshot folder result in a rebuild cache and another folder.

That aside thanks for the builds.

  14. Asper says:

Oops sorry the problem was in a leftover fonts.conf file from a different bundle not sure which or when from will teach me not to clear things out properly. Bleh feel like an idiot for that any way thanks for the so far flawless build.

  15. Markus Renkes says:

I have a problem with MEncoder. At the moment I work with CloneDVD mobile 1.2.0.1 If I the profile “Generic Xvid” takes I get after the 1-passport a tip with the 2-passport a problem gives. The Slysoft-Support says in the Exe. File a bug is. Please, check. Here is the error message:

    File 2 “C:\Program Files\SlySoft\CloneDVDmobile\apps\mencoder.exe” – -ffourcc DIVX -af volume=10 -aspect 16:9 -of avi -noodml -oac mp3lame -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=libxvid:vbitrate=2328:abitrate=128:threads=2:vpass=2 -audio-preload 0.8 -delay 0.1 -lameopts cbr:br=128 -vf pp=fd,scale=720:576,crop=720:576:0:0,harddup -info name=”VIDEO_DVD” -ofps 25 -o “O:\DVD\Star Wars.avi” -passlogfile “O:/DVD/mencmpass6056.log” 109 TCE

    Encoder Ausgabe:

Cannot get Console handle of stdout
Try appending the scale filter to your filter list,
e.g. -vf spp, scale instead of -vf spp.
    Unsupported PixelFormat -1
    2pass failed: reading from filename=O:/DVD/mencmpass6056.log
    FATAL: Cannot initialize video driver.

If I encode a Movie in DivX with the profile “Generic DivX” and play the file on my DVD player Philips DVP 5990, artefacts appear in the picture. My DVD player supports DivX 6th skills you the problem solve?

  16. Nijiko says:

Decodeing MPEG2 TS file, deinterlacing is error.
If use interlacer variate, it will make video images blockly.

  17. Nijiko says:

The problem is same as MPC-HC.

  18. Batman says:

This isn’t terribly important or anything, but there is no on-screen display of things like the video timing (enabled/disabled by pressing “o” on other builds), subtitle delay (z/x), etc. I kinda miss it. Will you be adding it eventually?

(Sorry if this isn’t a pertinent question, I kinda just found your build recently and I’m a total layman on this stuff anyway.)

  19. Nijiko says:

Added, NVidia decoder has no problem. So it’s not about videocard.
